Roles and responsibilities of Nurse
The primary role of a nurse is to advocate and care for individuals and support them through health and illness.
- Ability to work with teams to plan for patient care and nursing care requirements.
- Record medical history and symptoms.
- Monitor patient health and record pluses, temperatures, blood pressure.
- Providing emotional support to patients and their family members.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Providing pre- and post -operation care.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Supervising junior staff and organising workloads.
- Educate patients about management of illnesses.
